Description

Photo of a pale orange domestic cat. I dropped the color other than his eyes for this version. I just used guided edit to merge parts of the color version with a version I made black and white. I thought I had pixel blending checked, but I didn't, so it isn't flawless around the color part. This is my cat Whitey, who we call "white cat". He and his brother Lugnut are decended from generations of ferral cats that breed around this place I once worked. They were born in a pile of scrap pallets and broken wood from shipping crates. They were "rescued" from the cold, just over a year ago from submitting this, as kittens. Whitey was the last of the litter to remain with the mother in the wild, as each kitten was caught one by one, by the shop owver and his wife. We got him more than a month after Lugnut. They were separated that whole time. The reunion was touching, and they were buds until they began to become "cats" not kittens. What was once a playful grapple is now a ball of fur flying furry. You stick an arm or leg in to break it up and you get cut up. It's a scary thing to watch. Whitey is wild and skittish. But will cuddle with only my father, while lugnut is the most cuddly thing I've ever known. Whitey has really cool eyes as most cats do. His eyes are a pale gold or green, I have even captured them blue in photos in some light. Lugnut's eyes match his coat aswell. Lugnut is a deep orange almost red, and his eyes are deep orange to deep gold. Both are very impressive cats in my opinion. From years and decades of breeding wild.
